Chelsea target Adam Lallana

Lallana could be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer. 

Southampton captain Adam Lallana has caught the attention of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and the Blues have reportedly made initial contact with the Saints for a possible move for the midfielder in summer, according to Mirror Football.
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form this season under the guidance of manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has hailed him as a pivotal figure in the Southampton squad. Lallana has been a sensation and undoubtedly the driving force behind the Saints success this season with never being short of goals when needed. He also scored against Tottenham last Sunday, but it was in vain due to a stoppage time winner from Gylfi Sigurdsson.

The string of impressive performances throughout the 2013-14 season earned him the international call-up and experts believe he will be one of the key members of Roy Hodgson’s squad that travel to Brazil for the World Cup in June. However the England international will not come cheap for the Blues to land him at Stamford Bridge as Southampton value him around £20million.
Coming up the ranks through the youth academy at Southampton, the talented midfielder is creative, skilful and a quick-thinker who would add quality to any squad he plays for. His work rate in both attacking and defensive positions have been praised and playing for a Champions League club could be hard to resist.
