She's just not a one night kind of gal! Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber may have allegedly been spotted in a Brazilian brothel over the weekend, but
the 21-year-old songstress clearly has a different idea on what she
would do during a free night out. In the December/January issue of Teen Vogue,
Gomez surmises that, now that she's entered her 20s, she's "entered the
decade of confusion about who I am and what I want to do with my
life...that's what this entire decade's going to be [about]."
The
Texas native says still living at home with her family has been a big
part of finding herself -- and of course, having a famous friend like Taylor Swift by her side hasn't hurt either.
"The
difference between Taylor and me is she was 16 with the confidence of a
25-year-old. Actually, I should say 80-year-old, because she's such an
old soul," the brunette beauty tells the
mag. "I was not that way. I was very sheltered until about 18 or 19. I
still live at home, and I'm 21! She does inspire me like crazy, but I
wouldn't change my path, because it allowed me to figure out all that
stuff and do it on my own."
As
for as getting over a broken heart? No age could possibly make that a
bit easier. "You fall in love and it completely consumes you," she says.
"So a part of you is broken when that's gone."
