Demola, one of the sons of Governor Babatunde Fashola took to his instagram page this night to honour his mother, Dame Abimbola Fashola as she turned 50 today. What he wrote below..


"The 21 years I have spent on this earth would not have been the same without you. We thank you for picking us up when we were in a million pieces, for dusting our knees and encouraging us to try again when we were down. For the infinite ways you show us the true meaning of unconditional love. Walking half a century on Earth in love and light is not an easy feat yet you have made it look effortless.
All of our achievements in this lifetime are yours because none of us would be the people we are today without you. Thank you for being the wind beneath our wings. Happy Birthday Mother Dearest, We Love you forever and A Day.
