Pictures have emerged of Uruguayan and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez trying to bite Italian
striker Giorgio Chiellini (left) 12 months before biting him again at their match last night in Brazil. The first incident happened during a Confederations Cup clash between Italy and Uruguay in 2013.
Meanwhile Suárez is reportedly now facing a two year ban. FIFA disciplinary committee said this morning that it had opened proceedings against him and has asked his team to present evidence later today. "Any type of proof may be produced, including reports from referees, declarations from the parties and witnesses, material evidence, audio or video recordings’. the committee said.
A decision on whether he is guilty of biting or not will be published before Saturday when Uruguay will play Colombia.
