According to inside sources, NBCUniversal owners of the popular America docu-reality series; the Real Housewives Franchise is partnering with a Nigerian  organisation  to produce a version of the show for the African audience.   The new show will be called the Real Housewives of Lagos and will cover the lifestyle of 5 – 8  different women resident in Lagos. Continue...   These women must fit a certain profile; aged between 30 and 50, extremely wealthy - married into money, inherited a fortune through her family, or just self-made millionaires - they could be married, divorced or single.  They will also grant an all-access pass to their lives: their families, friendships, careers and homes. While there are so many women in Lagos who fit this bill, it would be interesting to see the ones who get selected to star in this show and the ones who accept.

After receiving an outstanding reception at the Time Gala in NYC, and attending a few Hollywood events, Omotola landed Murtala Muhammed Airport over the weekend and was welcomed by her husband Captain Matthew Ekeinde, the press and fans who had gotten wind of her arrival. Nollywood actress and producer, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is currently in a state of grief over the loss of her mother, Mrs. Grace Egoyibo Chukwuka. She lost her mother on the 22nd of May, 2013.  The death of the "On Bended Knees" producer's mum is coming few weeks after actor and colleague, Chinedu Ikedieze, lost his father. It should be noted that another actress, Moyo Lawal lost her mum to the cold pangs of death two weeks ago. The national president of the Nigerian chapter of Junior Chamber International, Oyebanjo Okunuga (pictured left) and his deputy, Agaptus Nnadiekwe (pictured right), died on Sunday May 26th in a fatal auto accident while returning to Lagos after attending a collegiate conference at Federal University of Technology Akure, Ondo state. The vehicle they were traveling in crashed, killing Oyebanjo and Agaptus, while the executive secretary survived. He's currently receiving treatment at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital. Apart from being Nigeria JCI president, Oyebanjo was the CEO of Kubacle Clothing, - a clothing company and also CEO of Business Craft Solution, - an entrepreneurship development organization He was 32 years old. May their souls rest in peace...amen.

First there were rumours that Brymo had left Chocolate City, then the record label released a statement denying the rumour, and now Brymo has gone on Twitter to set the record straight.
