Kerry Washington, the star of US political thriller TV series Scandal is collaborating with the show's costume designer Lyn Paolo and clothing line The Limited, to create a Scandal inspired clothing line. The 42 piece fall collection, inspired by Kerry's fixer Olivia Pope, will included pants, tops, jackets, outerwear and will start at $49. Olu Famous was driving to the Ikorodo area of Lagos on Wednesday to inspect one of my building project in the city when I ran into a scene of policeman chasing people, the area was very rowdy. It was discovered that the nefarious activities of Pastor Nwankwo,who runs a popular church in the area, has been exposed. God exposed the evil doers when one Mrs Rosemary Chukwu kidnapped a 7yrs old boy , Emeka, for rituals by her pastor. Rosemary kept the boy in her toilet and engaged her children in a prayer session, apparently to make noise and prevent her co‑tenants from hearing the abducted boy’s cry for help. Back in the abducted boy’s home , located four buildings from Rosemary's house, his mother became worried over his where-about. She raised alarm which caused some boys to start conducting a search. Rosemary even came out and even suggested to the boys areas where they should search for the missing boy . Later She was said to have been sighted with a suitcase

Chris Brown has tasted jail and no longer seems afraid of it. He was in Washington D.C yesterday for his assault trial and rejected a plea deal with prosecutors...and now he's headed for trial. TMZ reports that Chris was close to copping a plea but the deal fell apart because the prosecutor and Chris' lawyer couldn't agree on a statement of fact about the events leading to the alleged assault. Chris has always denied assaulting a fan in 2013 outside a hotel in D.C. If he'd pled guilty, he would not have to serve any additional time in jail. Now that he's going to trial, jail time is on the line again. His bodyguard has already been convicted of the assault. A trial date has been set for September.

Pandemonium broke out today at the University of Jos in Plateau state following an alleged sighting of a male suicide bomber in the school premises. Students and lecturers all took to their heels on hearing the rumor. (It's almost funny but its too serious). According to reports, some of the students  summoned courage and apprehended the alleged suicide bomber, beating him almost to a pulp before he was saved by security officials.

Pictures have emerged of Uruguayan and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez trying to bite Italian striker Giorgio Chiellini (left) 12 months before biting him again at their match last night in Brazil. The first incident happened  during a Confederations Cup clash between Italy and Uruguay in 2013. Meanwhile Suárez is reportedly now facing a two year ban. FIFA disciplinary committee said this morning that it had opened proceedings against him and has asked his team to present evidence later today. "Any type of proof may be produced, including reports from referees, declarations from the parties and witnesses, material evidence, audio or video recordings’. the committee said. 2face Idibia has slammed a N100million suit against soft-sell magazine, Icon Weekly, for libel. The Media/Entertainment Law Firm of L & A- Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf of  2face, at the Ikeja High Court asking the court to award their client the sum of N100million being damages for the libelous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platforms. In March this year, Icon alleged that 2face committed adultery by impregnating a 'Lagos top banker' who is supposedly his account officer in one of the new generation banks and that infact, the lady had every intention of keeping the baby. The story went viral, which 2face later denied. A source close to the music icon said the story, which was found to be false, made 2face lose a very lucrative deal and caused ripples between him and his wife. Icon weekly is said to have approached 2face’s team for discussions on a possible out of court settlement.
